Feature
Also called Black Blue Glass or Ultraviolet Glass Tubing. Its a kind of very deep violet-blue glass tubing quite transparent to medium and longer UVA wavelengths, and shorter visible violet wavelengths, and a fairly broad range of infrared and the longest, least visible red wavelengths.
Application
Used to make "Black light" or Ultraviolet lamp ("UV" lights) which is widely used in inspection of industrial products and food, etc.; bug killer of check, currency, ID & passport; criminal investigation. Also the UV lights are applied as decoration lights for DISCO, pub and billboard.
